229 kilos of hashish seized in the ports of Algeciras and Tarifa.

The Civil Guard has arrested 14 people on suspicion of crimes against public health and has involved 229 kilos of hashish in different activities conducted in the ports of Algeciras and Tarifa (Cadiz ).    As reported by the Armed Institute in a statement, actions have been carried out in step accessible for people and vehicles from ship to Tangier and Ceuta in the past week.    Thus, in the Port of Algeciras, Guardia Civil have arrested two people who had been attached to the body with adhesive tape 900 and 1.120 grams of hashish.    Also, the inspection several cars, double bottoms located inside practiced containing 26.2, 140.600 and 9.500 kilos of hashish, so that the six were detained vehicle occupants.    On the other hand, in the port of Tarifa, the Civil Guard has arrested five people who had attached to the body or inside the body of hashish amounts ranging from 350 to 1,200 grams.    Moreover, during the inspection in a car, located within 49.2 kilos of hashish hidden in a false bottom, so it has been the driver stopped.    The facts were instructed relevant steps, which together with the detainees and operated the drug have been made available to the Judicial Authority.
